The Admin noticeboard is one way through which users can notify administrators of issues needing administrative attention. While users are welcome to directly contact specific administrators (especially if they are seen to be active), posting here can be an easier and quicker way of ensuring that at least one admin will notice an issue and respond to it promptly. Remember to sign (using four tildes: ~~~~) when posting an issue.

Before posting an issue here, please consider the following:

  • This page is for reporting wiki issues. Please post discussions on the talk page.
  • Post only issues that require administrative action, i.e. blocking vandals, protecting pages, restoring deleted pages etc.
  • Do not post deletion requests here. Deletion requests should be made by adding {{delete|reason for deletion request}} to the top of the target page, which will then automatically mark the page as a candidate for deletion.
  • Do not post issues regarding content disputes. Try making a request for comment instead.
  • Mediation requests between users should only be made once a resolution could not be reached between users.
  • For issues regarding the use of this wiki, please see our help center.

In case of vandalism, posting about it here is low priority. Revert it first, anyone can do so. If the vandal created a new page, tag it for deletion. Assume good faith and consider leaving a message on that user's talk page to explain the reason. Post here only if the user has made several disruptive edits and/or persists despite a warning. Always avoid a revert war with the vandal; it is far better to wait until an admin has a chance to intervene. If a user must be reported here, please use {{user}}, preferably as the topic subject/headline.

Alchemy Page being stupid...[]

Ive been updating it and now whenever I try to save changes it takes me to a white screen and doesnt save anything... Other pages work. Any idea why???--Tythesly (talk) 00:45, 20 November 2014 (UTC)

What kind of pages cause this error? Does it happen every time on certain pages or is it fairly random? --Sigilbaram (talk) 00:50, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
It's only the alchemy page for me... Is it because I was editing it to much??? When I try to make any edits on it now as soon as I push save changes it takes a while to load then goes to a white screen... or takes me to a 500 error.--Tythesly (talk) 00:56, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
Dang it... I was hoping it would work today... It still wont save any changes... I tried cleaning my cache... logging in and out... using different browser. Im going to try editing as an IP. Update... that didnt work either... Im wondering if it has to do with the template limit on the page...-Tythesly (talk) 22:27, 20 November 2014 (UTC) 22:26, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
Might be this... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Template_limits#When_do_problems_arise.3F --Tythesly (talk) 22:37, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
I totally missed the section title... heh. And yeah, for errors that deal with a specific page that limit report is always the first thing I check, but all the numbers look fine except maybe the time is a bit high... It is a very large page with a lot of images, so it might be encountering a timeout error? We had some pages on some other wikis with a large number of icons that had similar errors and it turned out they were timing out because the large number of images were taking too long for the server to process. I'll poke around some more. --Sigilbaram (talk) 23:07, 20 November 2014 (UTC)

Hopefully you can fix the problem... because I planned on working on all the vocation pages... Adding missing recipes and fixing incorrect ones... I dont want it to happen everytime lol.--Tythesly (talk) 00:02, 21 November 2014 (UTC)

Any luck finding the problem? My friend said this:

NewPP limit report
CPU time usage: 16.517 seconds
Real time usage: 19.550 seconds
Preprocessor visited node count: 39918/1000000
Preprocessor generated node count: 14921/1000000
Post‐expand include size: 371092/2097152 bytes
Template argument size: 46032/2097152 bytes
Highest expansion depth: 8/40
Expensive parser function count: 0/100
Per that report -- I would say it was a template problem -- Highest expansion depth: 8 /40 8 out of 40 ( remember the 8 templates is really 3 or 4 because of sub-templates -- so it is really 24 or 32 out of 40 ) so this is almost definitely the problem Also Per the report there are 0 expansive (on the page ) but again I think they are on the sub-templates--Tythesly (talk) 19:00, 24 November 2014 (UTC)

Mobile version not displaying properly[]

The current mobile template is hardly readable due to cyan text on a white background. Suggestion is to start by replacing the Mobile.css with the default Mobile template from Help Gamepedia > Skin_customization and then work on converting the color scheme to match the desktop version.

Modifying your personal .css (eg User:Hatberg/mobile.css) is currently not allowed due to the following warning:

This action has been automatically identified as harmful, and therefore disallowed. If you believe your action was constructive, please inform an administrator of what you were trying to do. A brief description of the abuse rule which your action matched is: Global AF - New user adding link at end or in heading

Can this restriction be lifted in order to redesign the Mobile stylesheet? --Hatberg (talk) 12:09, 16 August 2016 (UTC)

The message is because you're a brand new user with no edits. Make a couple small edits and the message should go away. --Alianin T • C 14:32, 16 August 2016 (UTC)

invalid link report[]

Justice_System - The second reference needs to change from topic/1032-the-pirate-way-arrgh/ to ?showtopic=1032, since the forum's link structure has changed.

As a New user it will not allow me because it's a link (good idea :)

Thank you for pointing out the error. It has been fixed. --Alianin T • C 19:07, 29 December 2016 (UTC)
