Overview[]
Farms in Archeage are protected areas of land allowing for the safe growth and harvest of flora and fauna. They can be placed only in specific areas marked on the map or with a construction sign in the land itself. Farms are one of the simplest ways to turn labor into gold or crafting proficiency.
Climates[]
Different climates exist through the new world. Each is home to an assortment of farmable items, and each is an important part of efficiently producing goods for trade packs and crafting. The following is a list of the climates currently in Archeage:

On the tooltip of what you are placing on your farm you will see a growth/mature time. This can range from less than an hour to multiple days. If you place your crops, saplings or livestock in the right climate then they will grow/mature faster than the time stated on the tooltip.

Small[]
8x8 Small Scarecrow Garden (Plots in Gweonid Forest), obtained through Blue Salt Brotherhood questing EU/US - 5 Tax Certificates
Medium[]
16x16 Scarecrow Farm, obtained through Blue Salt Brotherhood Questline. After a few local trade runs this quest will unlock.
16x16 Improved Scarecrow Farm, obtained by combining your 8x8 Garden with materials from the construction profession.
West Version Quest
Take a pack of Dewstone Petal Dye (190 Narcissus, +50 Medicinal Powder, +1 Quality Certificate) to Austera in the Solis Headlands (leave from Dewstone).
East Version Quest
Take a pack of Mahedevi Elephant Cookies to Crescent Throne in Solzreed Peninsula
Large[]
24x24 Gazebo farm, obtained by combining your 16x16 Scarecrow Farm with materials from the construction profession.
Aqua Farm[]
Bought from Mirage Isle for 20 Gilda Stars. Located on the Western Side near the docks. Takes a 16x16 area in Underwater Farm Zones and has a special ability to restore breath.
Takes no materials to place
Thatched Farmhouse[]
Bought from Mirage Isle for 50 Gilda Stars. Located on the Eastern Side near the Ranch. Has a larger area around it for farming over standard houses.
This type of house can also be upgraded to either a Harvesters, Ranchers, or Miners Thatched Farmhouse.
Public Farms[]
Most of the zones, or probably every non pvp zone has a Public farm, where free to play players can plant certain plants or grow livestock.
You can grow only 10 plants/animals (5 on F2p), no matter if you're planting in different zones or farms.
Whatever you've planted will be protected for 24 hours, enough time to grow most of the resources.

Public Stables[]
Public stables are lands meant for raising mounts. You can only grow 10 animals at a time (5 for F2P), no matter if you're planting in different zones or farms. Players initially raise their one mount to improve their transportation speed. Whatever you're raising, will be protected for 24 hours.
