Overview[edit | edit source]
Gathering is a cultivation skill that covers both planting and harvesting herbs and flowering plants.
It can be very useful when wanting to gain wealth. If you become proficient enough you can construct bundles at a Farmer's Workstation. Bundles are ten seeds bound together, Their growth times vary depending on the bundle, while they take up ten spaces and give half the yield they do allow you to harvest in one attempt, and produce Bait Worm.
Interaction[edit | edit source]
Depending on the stage of development, you may have a few different options to choose from.
Uproot - Dig the plant up, destroying it. This also has a small chance to drop a seedling.
Water- Available to newly planted crops. Decreases growth time.
Gather- Harvest the matured plant.

Flowers & Herbs[edit | edit source]
Closely related to farming, within the gathering skill players are able to grow flowers and herbs on appropriate land and gather from them useful items for alchemy, cooking, and other crafting skills. Plants in ArcheAge can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few days to grow depending on the type of plant and players should be conscious of the return-per-hour of each plant and make use of their land and resources appropriately.
Many of the items that can be grown in the gathering skill can also be found all over the map so keep your eyes open for wild flowers and herbs.
