Palace Cellar has a minimum level requirement of 18. To mentor for this dungeon, you must be level 30+. To mentee for this dungeon, you must be level 18-29. A party of up to 3 people can take on Palace Cellar at a time.

Walkthrough[]

Upon entering Palace Cellar, head down the hallway to the first room, killing any enemies in your way. In the first room, you should take note of a lever by the wall to your left, a fire pit in the middle of the room, and 2 doors- 1 straight ahead and 1 to the right. Naturally, dispose of any enemies before proceeding. Pull the lever on the left wall and kill the assassin that spawns as a result. The fire pit in the middle of the room is now extinguished. Jump into the fire pit and pull a second lever. This will cause the door on the right wall to open. Head through that door into a second room. Dispose of enemies again before proceeding. If you try to continue through the hallway on the left, youll notice fire is blocking your way. Double back into the second room and head to the pool of water in the middle. In this pool is a bucket. Either ignore it and swim through an opening in the side of the pool to find an underwater lever to put out the fire, or take the bucket back and forth a few times and dump into on the fire until it goes out. Proceed into the third room, and to the first boss.

Boss 1[]

After clearing out all of the enemies, ready yourself to fight the boss. While at higher levels she's a breeze to take out in seconds, lower levels should be careful to follow mechanics. Upon engaging the boss, she'll start putting out staticy balls of light on people that will detonate in a few seconds and deal damage- avoid them. After taking a couple of hits, the boss will summon a fire elemental. While you don't need to kill the elemental first to defeat the boss, some may find it helpful to get rid of it first. If it isn't a problem, ignore it and just keep hitting the boss until she dies. Once she's dead, loot her corpse and the treasure chest that spawns on it to get a key and head back to the first room.

Once back in the first room, have the person who looted the key open the door across from where you first entered the room. Head up a short staircase into the fourth room (which looks a lot like the second) and kill any enemies, except the miniboss (the large guy blocking the next hallway). There's a lever near the hallway to the left in this room. If the miniboss gives you trouble, pull this lever and try to lure it into the ice trap on the floor to freeze it so it will become easier to kill. Take care not to step on the ice trap yourself or you too will be frozen. Once the miniboss is dead, head down the hallway into the fifth room, home of the second boss.

Boss 2[]

Clear out all enemies in the boss room and ready yourself again. Once attacked, the boss will throw fire down on the person holding his aggro and fly into the air for a few seconds. Don't stand in the fire or you will be burned and slowed. He will then come back down to the ground and try to snare his aggroer, much like many of the trash mobs do. Try not to be snared either, as if you get caught in both the fire and the snare at the same time, you will take some damage. He will repeat this until he dies. Once dead, loot his corpse and the treasure chest that spawns on it to get a key and head to the back of the room.

Have the person who looted the key open the door. Do not proceed through the door until you are ready. Once you head through the door, a boulder will start rolling down the hallway, dealing a lot of damage to anyone it hits, perhaps killing them. You can avoid this by 1 of two ways- the first being that someone runs into the hall to trigger the boulder, then quickly backtracks to the second boss' room so as to not be hit. The second way is to have everyone run into the hallway very quickly, and try to get into the crevices on either side of the hall so the boulder rolls by them harmlessly. Once the trap is disarmed, continue up the hallway, killing any enemies along the way. At the end of the hallway right before the sixth room, you will be stopped for a short cutscene, revealing the third and final boss.

Be careful when entering the third boss' room, as there isnt much room to stand and it is easy to fall right on top of some enemies. Carefully walk along the edge and climb ACROSS (NOT DOWN!) the vines. Head up the edge a bit more into a little side room. Do any quests the NPC has for you, if you haven't already. After everyone has that quest completed, jump down onto the boss floor through the hole in the grate, and land in some water. This pool of water is important and will be used during the boss fight.

Boss 3[]

Dispose of any enemies along the edge of the room, then group up next to the pool of water. During the boss fight, the boss may set the floor and everyone on it on fire. You will take damage until the fire is put out, which you can do by jumping in the water. If at any point during the fight some buckets appear and the boss covers himself with fire and begins taking almost no damage, have someone run over to a bucket, pick it up, target the boss, and press the R key (default R key) to throw the contents of the bucket on the boss. He will then become vulnerable again. The boss moves very quickly and occasionally pulls the person who has aggro to him, making him hard to avoid. If the boss calls down fire from the sky, move away from him to avoid being hit. Keep attacking him and avoiding taking damage until he dies. At this point, you can loot his corpse. If you have a mentor (level 30+) and a mentee (level 18-29) who each have their respective quests, they can open the chest that will appear on the floor after the boss is dead for some loot. While the dungeon has a 3 member limit, only 1 mentor and only 1 mentee may use the chest. A third person will be left out, and the quest can only be done once per day, so decide who gets to open the chest beforehand. After all of that is done, exit the dungeon using the portal on the wall. Congratulations, you've beaten Palace Cellar!
