If you're looking for a trade route, the Summer Leaf River takes you and your cargo right out to the Feuille Sound... though the path does take a few sharp and dangerous turns. Maybe you shouldn't try it with anything bigger than a simple clipper.
The road to Dewstone in the north is surrounded by grapevines, and it's probably just as good as any farm you can make yourself.
If you feel like exploring, there's a nice view from the top of the big tent at the Gaiety Theater. Slightly less impressive than that is the empty, rat-infested granary by the Marianople Plantations; climb the ladder, look around, and ask yourself, "Why did I come here again?"
